Privacy Policy - Swish iOS App
Last Updated: July 9, 2026
Swish ("the App") is developed by numansoft ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used. We built Swish to work with as little data collection as possible.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifying information to use Swish. Swish does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
2. Your Content
The tasks, folders, and reminders you create ("User Content") are stored locally on your device. If your device has iCloud enabled, User Content is automatically backed up and synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service, within your personal iCloud account. This sync is handled entirely by Apple — we do not have access to, and cannot view, your User Content.
3. Purchase Information
Swish uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to process and manage in-app purchases (Swish Pro). When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier (not tied to your name or email) along with your purchase and subscription status, in order to unlock Pro features on your device. Payment itself is processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment card information. RevenueCat's own privacy practices are described at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
4. Alarms and Notifications
If you choose to set an alarm for a task, that alarm is scheduled locally on your device using Apple's AlarmKit framework. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
5. Widgets and Live Activities
If you add a Swish widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or use Live Activities, your folder and task data is shared locally between the app and the widget using Apple's App Group storage on your device. This data does not leave your device through this feature.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete all folders and tasks at any time using the "Delete All Data" option in Settings. Because your data is stored locally and in your personal iCloud account, deleting the App or your data follows the same rules as any other data in your iCloud account, which you control through your Apple ID settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Swish is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Data Security
Your data is protected by the security measures Apple provides for on-device storage and iCloud (including encryption). We rely on Apple's and RevenueCat's platform security for any data that leaves your device.
9. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal information directly, most of your privacy controls are managed through your device: you can delete your data in-app at any time, manage iCloud sync in your device's Settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID. If you have questions about data RevenueCat holds on your behalf, you may also contact us and we will help facilitate your request.
10. Feedback You Send Us
If you choose to send feedback from Settings, the message you write is sent to us together with basic diagnostic information: app version and build number, iOS version, device model, app language, whether you have Swish Pro, how many folders and tasks you have, and whether a widget is installed. Your folder names, task names, and reminder contents are never included. Providing your email address is optional and is used only to reply to you. We use this information solely to fix problems and improve the App.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the App with a new "Last Updated" date.
12. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at swishiosapp@gmail.com.
